The Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) offers attractive rewards to a Member who successfully refers friends, colleagues or other business associates to become Members of the SCC.

1) Ordinary Transferable Membership: will receive the amount of S$1,000.00 by way of Food and Beverage (F&B) Credit to the Members’ Account, following successful attendance at the New Members Election Night (NMEN).
The S$1,000.00 F&B Credit may be redeemed within a 12 month period.
2). Term Member: will receive the amount of S$500 F&B Credit to the Members’ Account, following successful attendance at the NMEN.
The S$500 F&B Credit may be redeemed within a 6 month period.
A Member will be informed by letter from the Membership Department and please take note of the F&B Credit expiry date stated in the letter.
Terms & Conditions
- This promotion is applicable to Ordinary Transferable Membership and Term Membership ‘SALES’ transacted through the Club ONLY.
- For an Ordinary Transferable Membership, the Seller’s name must be ‘logged’ on the Club’s Registered Seller’s List.
- The Introducing Member will receive F&B Credit by way of reward to the Member’s Account, following successfully attending the NMEN.
- F&B Credits have an expiry date which will be stated on the letter sent to a Member from the Membership Department.
- This promotion may not be redeemed in conjunction with other ongoing membership promotions.

FAQ
Do I have to pay Monthly Subscriptions and other charges after submitting my Seller's Form?
YES. You remain a Member of the Club until such time as the sale of the membership has been successfully transacted with the transferee elected as a new Member of the Club.
The Club will continue charging the Monthly Subscription Fee (or) Absentee Fee and ALL other on-going charges, until such time as the membership has successfully been formally transferred to a new Member.
Do I require Letter of Introduction' to visit Reciprocal Clubs with the SCC?
Members, who travel overseas may enjoy Reciprocal privileges with over 100 other Private Member Clubs around the world through our Reciprocal agreements with these Clubs.
Before visiting any overseas Reciprocal Club, a Member is advised to:
- Request for a ‘Letter of Introduction’ from the Club’s Members Services Desk (MSD), prior to your visit.
- The ‘Letter of Introduction’ together with your SCC Membership Card must be presented as a courtesy and for registration purposes upon your arrival at the Reciprocal Club.
- The ‘Letter of Introduction’ is valid only for the period indicated in the ‘Letter of Introduction’.
- Reciprocal Membership is limited to 30 days in a calendar year, or otherwise subject to the rules and regulations or ‘discretion’ of the visiting Reciprocal Club.
- All charges incurred must be settled prior to departure from the premises of the Reciprocal Club itself.
- All SCC Members must abide by the rules and regulations of the visiting Reciprocal Club.

How do I Re-activate my Membership on Return to Singapore?
Principal Members need to complete the requisite Re-activation Form.

If a Family Member wishes to re-activate his/her membership in the absence of the Principal Member. The Principal Member is required to e-mail (or otherwise formally correspond) such advice to the SCC Membership Department together with the completed Re-activation Form for approval in his/her absence.
How do I Update my Membership Particulars?
Members are required to report his/her change of personal particulars promptly.
The forgoing will assist the Club to keep Members posted on the latest Club announcements, news, promotions, events, launches and surveys across all Club based social media platforms.

How do I become an Absent Member?
An Ordinary (Transferable) and an Ordinary (Non-Transferable) Member may only apply for ‘Absent’ status if they are to be domiciled or take up residence overseas outside of Singapore for an extended period.
The following documents must be submitted together with your completed Absent Membership Application Form in order for the Club to process your Application for a change of status:-
- Payment of Absent Fee;
- a photocopy of documentary proof of evidence such as a letter of employment letter; or an
- overseas telecommunication or other utility bill registered under the departing Member’s name reflecting the address indicated on the Absent Membership Application Form; and
- Full and final settlement of any outstanding amount (if any) against your SCC account.
Absent Membership fees are calculated as:
- Annual Absent Membership - An initial ‘Absent’ fee of three times the monthly subscription fee (prevailing at the time of departure), and currently amounting to S$330.63 (inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST)) and subsequent similarly calculated annual ‘Absent’ fees of three times the monthly subscription of the prevailing rate; or
- Permanent Absent Membership - An initial 'Absent' fee equivalent to ten times the monthly subscription fee (prevailing at the time of departure) amounting to S$1,102.10 (inclusive of GST) after which no further ‘Absent’ fee is payable.
Following the SCC Membership Department’s receipt of the requisite ‘Absent’ fee; the supporting document of employment/overseas address as well as the full and final settlement of the your SCC account (if any); the Club will be pleased to process the Application and effect the ‘Absent Membership.’

How long should I expect to have to wait on the Club Seller's List?
The Club will be pleased to assist with the ‘sourcing’ of a buyer for a Member wishing to sell his/her membership. An exact ‘time-frame’ for the sale of a membership is dependent on ‘Market Supply and Demand’.
The Club focus is on the Member’s best interests being served.
The Club will act on a first-come-first-served basis, and will only register a Member’s name onto the ‘List of Selling Members’ when the SCC Membership Sales Manager receives the completed Seller Form.
How long should I have to wait to receive the Proceeds of a Membership Sale?
It may take a period of one month following the transfer of the membership to a new Member.
In this regard the SCC Membership Department will require a valid email address and contact number of the Selling Member.
A Selling Member will be notified by email (or other preferred communication) for the ‘Cessation of Membership’ by the SCC Membership Department.
The SCC Finance Department will thereafter be responsible for the preparation of the payment of the Sales Proceeds to the Selling Member.
How to transfer/sell membership?
The Club has a special service for Members who intend to sell their prized SCC Membership.
Whilst there are commercial club membership agents in the market, they often set transfer prices (selling prices) which may be below your expectations; they still charge commissions even though most of the transfer processing work is done by SCC staff. Further, application processing through agents is normally not quick due to the need to liaise with a third party.
Selling your membership through the Club is quick and efficient and there is NO additional commission, which means that you get the best return for the sale of your treasured asset.

What is the procedure for selling my Membership?
The Club will deduct a Transfer Fee of S$10,000 (plus GST) in accordance with the provisions of SCC Rule 44 (A).

Please complete Appendices A and B of the Transfer Form and send the completed Appendices A and B of the Transfer Form to the SCC Membership Sales Manager who will register the Selling Member as a ‘Prospective Seller’.
Transfer Form - Appendix B must be notarized and signed by a Commissioner of Oaths / Notary Public in Singapore or a Notary Public for overseas. It is also required to obtain the formal ‘Stamp’ from the Commissioner of Oaths / Notary Public.
When does a new member's Minimum Spending commence?
Every Member is grouped according to his/her alphabetically listed surname and charged as per the Grouping Surnames as:
- Group A Surnames (A – J) Starts from Jan – Mar; Apr- Jun; and July – Sept, Oct - Dec
- Group B Surnames (K – P) Starts from Feb – Apr; May – July; and Aug – Oct, Nov - Jan
- Group C Surnames (Q – Z) Starts from Mar - May, June – Aug, Sept – Nov; and Dec - Feb
Minimum Spending cannot be waived.
Will it be faster if I sell through Brokers?

Wishing to Make Application for Casual Car Park Label?
Each Membership number is permitted to make application for a maximum of two Car Park Labels subject to verification that the private vehicles are owned by the applying Member.
The following document must be submitted together with your completed Car Park Label Application Form in order for the Club to process the Application:-

The monthly subscription fee for each carpark label is S$20.00 plus the prevailing GST.
