General Information

Bridge is one of the world’s most popular card games using a standard 52-card deck. The game consists of several deals, each progressing through four phases: dealing the cards, the auction (also referred to as bidding), playing the cards, and scoring the results. However, most Club and Tournament play involves some variant of duplicate bridge, where the cards are not re-dealt on each occasion and the same deal being played by two or more different sets of players to enable comparative scoring.

The SCC Bridge Section is the newest section of the Club (formed in 2012) and it is a growing Section.

 
Section Night & Training

The Bridge Section nights are held on a weekly basis every Monday at the Victoria Room from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. Training sessions are held periodically.

Date: Mondays 
Time: 7.00pm to 11.00pm

Venue: The Victoria Room

Dress Code: As per the Victoria Room – Flip flops, open-toe footwear (for men), singlets, sports shorts and collarless tee-shirts are not permitted.
